My Take
The product has a great look and feel. It’s fairly easy to use the components to assemble and disassemble.
The downside for me is that it doesn’t give direction or HOW to make the cold brew. The inner filter basket doesn’t touch the bottom of the carafe which means the coffee grounds won’t have even contact with the water inside. If you match water level with the grounds it ends up being too light in flavor.
DO IT THIS WAY
What I found to work is to pour in the water while the filter basket is seated properly. This allows less grounds to spill out and for easier pouring of water over the grounds. From there remove the filter from the lid and carefully set it in the brew water. It is wide enough that the filter basket won’t tip (but it can lean so be cautious not to fill grounds too far to the top).
