I am a caffeine addict and I love to have a great workout boost. The problem is in the timing and how much caffeine I need to get me going. This product allows me to be able to have an evening workout without the issue of being up all night. My preworkout powders are usually quite stimulant heavy. It’s fantastic that there are some that are caffeine free. Let’s see what this product has to offer!
Muscle Feast MFX NO Preworkout Review – Product Description
Muscle Feast’s MFX N.O. is stimulant-free and all you need for an insane workout without the caffeine. This nitric oxide boosting formula increases blood flow, transporting oxygen to the muscle for improved athletic performance. For those that just want the Pumps, this product delivers. Loaded with Thermolife’s patented Betaine Nitrate, AAKG, L-Alanine, and Agmapure Agmatine, this product contains 11 grams per serving of pump ingredients.
NO3-T® Betaine Nitrate
NO3-T® Betaine Nitrate increases vasodilation by metabolizing its nitrate molecules in the body into Nitric Oxide.
Arginine AKG 2:1
Arginine alpha-ketoglutarate (AAKG) is a salt formed by combining two molecules of the amino acid L-Arginine and one molecule of alpha-ketoglutarate. L- Arginine is a nonessential amino acid that influences several metabolic factors that are important to athletes. AKG (alpha-ketoglutarate) is the nitrogen-free portion of the amino acid and it is formed in the Krebs cycle; the energy-producing process that occurs in most body cells. The alpha-ketoglutarate version of arginine is more efficient. When you combine these two things it’s more easily absorbed, plus you get the benefits of both compounds.
AgmaPure® Agmatine
AgmaPure® is the unique green, high purity agmatine sulfate. It’s produced by a natural biological process and away from the neurohazard impurity Arcaine, which exists in almost all the other brands of Agmatine Sulfate. Agmatine Sulfate is thought to improve nutrient partitioning thus leading to more glycogen storage and increased water retention within the muscle. It also increases the level of nitric oxide (NO), which can increase the “PUMP” that athletes look for when weight training.
L-Alanine
L – Alanine is a non-essential amino acid that plays a critical role in protein synthesis and other metabolic processes, including regulating blood sugar.
Muscle Feast MFX NO Preworkout Review – My Take
This one DOES hit home, but you are taking down 2 massive scoops to get there. I shouldn’t complain too much because the pumps feel amazing, but the amount of powder is almost overpowering. I aim to try to down my scoop(s) quickly but with this product I can’t do that. I end up having to drop one down, rinse with water then drop down the other (obviously taking the scoops themselves with water). Maybe something a little less tart for the next flavor, but with citrulline that is hard to mask. It’s a win, it’s just a lot of powder.
